How do you stay cool in 90-degree heat?
What shoes should I get that won’t give me blisters when I walk?
Where do you go for a quick manicure and pedicure in New York?
I’m having a mini panic attack as I’m prepared for my trip to New York to see Fashion Week. At least I have everything else taken care of when it comes to what I’m wearing, but tackling New York Fashion Week requires more than just the right outfits. Even those of us who’ve spent years going the shows tend to make a few blunders here and there, so I’m constantly asking my friends for their tips and tricks from their times before.
There’s clearly an art to getting through the city without losing my cool, so I searched Vogue’s ultimate New York Fashion Week do’s and don’ts. They’ve compiled a “survival guide”, and it’s a must-read before embarking on the first day of shows. I read on for clever organizational tips, calming scents, suggestions for footwear, and the foods I need to eat to get through.
Yes, I’m also one of those girls who don’t fret about everything, but fret about anything! As I flipped through Vogue’s street style photos, I see girls in couture gowns and stilettos next to ladies in T-shirts and jeans. The ’90s are back this fall, and so are the ’80s and the ’70s. Enormous coats are having a moment, but that doesn’t mean a sleek, classic trench can’t be worn. If you’re not into sparkly slip dresses, utilitarian jackets and army pants are just as nice… In other words, anything goes this Fashion Week!
Wish me Luck!!!!!!Recommend0 recommendationsPublished in
